Andaluz - Flavours
of Spain
Open since January 2011, Andaluz is Bedford's
first Licensed café/deli and gift shop specialising in Spanish
produce.
Our deli offers a wide range of Spanish
meats, cheeses and deli items including chorizo, jamon iberico,
manchego, olives. You will also find store cupboard items
such as smoked paprika, honey, paella rice, Andalucían
olive oil and marcona almonds.
We have a good and expanding range of spanish
wines and sherries including rioja, albarino, rueda and
priorat and of course, cava. We are particularly proudof
our range of sherries and brandies from Jerez. We also stock
Asturian cider, Estrella Galicia, San Miguel, Moscatel and
Patxaran.
In addition to food and drinks, you will
find terracotta cookware, paella pans, tagines, wooden tapas
boards, sangria jugs to recreate that authentic Spanish
dining experience at home.
We also stock a range of organic olive oil
toiletries, artisan biscuits and chocolates which make perfect
gifts.
We can make up gift baskets or hampers to
meet your exact requirements and gift vouchers are available
year round.
We offer an informal dining experience in
our café, with deli boards, hot and cold tapas
items and bocadillos [panini]. At weekends we offer additional
home cooked specials.
We are open from 10.30am until 11pm Thursday
to Saturday and from 10.30 till 3pm on Sundays, so feel
free to drop in for a coffee and a slice of homemade cake,
or a glass of wine and a tapa at any time.
All of our food and fairtrade coffee is
available to eat in or take away.
From time to time Andaluz hosts private
evening functions, so please phone us on 0791 3342654 to
avoid disappointment.
Andaluz was born out of our love of Spain
[in particular Cadiz province] and as a result of the enthusiasm
and knowledge we gained whist living there. [We are enthusiasts
rather than experts!] We are happy to respond to any requests
or suggestions you may have and will try to source products
for our customers.
